I had the privelege of working with Steven this week and got a deeper learning of some course #1 stuff..the quality of midline breathing (sin wave). The sensation of filling and receding should be symmetrical in quality and length before you can move on. Previously I had been feeling the sin wave but not realizing that the disproportion of emptying/filling should be addressed to answer fully, “is midline breathing?”.  Steven pointed out that once midline is fully breathing it gives a clearer sense of compromised areas by putting them into sharper contrast.
I hope I have been able to express this clearly..Amy
